Coffee Kings : ウィキペディア英語版
Coffee King

Coffee King ((ポルトガル語:Rei do Café)) is an informal title created in Brazil during the 19th century and used until the early 20th century.〔KING, Winfield Conwell, Brazil's coffee industry, 1961〕 It was usually applied to the biggest coffee producer of a given period.〔GIOVANNETTI, L. G., O "rei do café," Geremia Lunardelli, 1951.〕
In spite of the lack of consensus around the exact number of Coffee Kings, the majority of scholars admit the existence of at least five of them:〔MARTINS, Ana Luiza, História do Café, Editora Contexto, 2008, São Paulo – SP, Brasil.〕
